A road bike bib short with an individual cut for women and a detail that makes a big difference on every bike ride.
The main difference in the women's model is the cut, which is adapted to the female body shape and optimized for the small needs during the ride. Because a quick pit stop at the toilet no longer ends in a changing disaster lasting several minutes.
With the new SQ-Short ONE12 Women, time is saved: simply sit down and pull the shorts over your bottoms, without having to take off your jersey or open complicated straps or zippers. The ingenious strap system creates maximum flexibility and at the same time offers a secure fit for the shorts pad while riding.
SQ-Pad 12 - For racers who don't like the feeling of diapers.
The SQ-Pad 12 is only a maximum of 5 mm thick and initially feels exceptionally firm and of high quality. The firm SQ-Pad 12 retains its shape, especially on longer rides. Unlike many thick, soft pads, it is not pushed inwards uncomfortably during pedaling. It offers perfect comfort for long distances on the road bike.

Why is the SQlab padding hard and thin?
Soft saddle myth: The sit bones absorb the body weight and can withstand high pressure. A bicycle saddle that is too soft causes the sit bones to sink in. This irritates sensitive tissue as well as muscle and tendon attachments. This means that deeply sinking seat bones lead to increased strain on the perineal area in men and the lower pubic arch in women.
But this raises the question of why we ride tight saddles and then simulate a soft saddle with thick and super-soft cycling shorts pads? Because the result is the same: Sinking seat bones, restricted blood supply and increased friction.
