A special rubber compound and the integrated, grippy diamond structure, similar to the SQlab 7OX grip, ensure that the Gravel handlebar tape remains perfectly grippy in all weather conditions. Micro-vibrations are dampened by an absorbent layer and premature muscle fatigue is counteracted.

Vibration analysis
We have extensively tested the 714 handlebar tape and examined its damping properties. Our results clearly showed that the micro-vibration-absorbing layer can effectively absorb road vibrations. Compared to a comparable damping handlebar tape, the 714 handlebar tape has an 11% lower Root-Mean-Square (RMS) when riding in the lower link, a 13% lower RMS in the upper link and a 14% lower RMS when riding in the brake grips. This indicates a higher vibration absorption of the SQlab 714.
