Perfect hold & efficient power transmission
The saddle‘s wave-like shape and raised rear ensure perfect rearward support and optimum pressure distribution down to the deep structures of the body, which significantly improves power transmission to the pedal.
More space
The lowered nose, in combination with the recess in the middle, creates more space and clearance for the perineal area for both women and men. At the same time, the sleeker shape creates more legroom.
New active-Technology
The active system has not only become lighter, but also much smoother. This increases comfort for the sit bones as well as relieving pressure on the intervertebral discs. In particular, the mobilization of the intervertebral discs is now clearly noticeable.
The active-movement is even more adjustable in the new models, as the elastomers have become smaller and lighter.

The SQlab active saddle technology means that the saddle follows the pedalling movement, which increases comfort, mobilises the intervertebral discs and minimises pressure on the sit bones.

The 612 ERGOWAVE® active 2.1 is the sporty road bike and mountain bike race saddle. The wave-like shape and the raised tail of the saddle ensure perfect rear support and optimum pressure distribution down to the deep structures of the body, which significantly improves power transmission to the pedal. The lowered nose in combination with the recess in the middle creates more space and clearance for the perineal area for women and men. Many small detail improvements in shape, technology and material raise the 612 ERGOWAVE® active 2.1 to a new level. The 612 ERGOWAVE® active 2.1 is equipped with the active technology with a softer and lighter movement with less weight.
